'Tis the season of eggs

This was the first year we were really able to celebrate Easter with Easton. Last year he was only a month and a few weeks old so it wasn't that exciting. This year though, we had some fun. The Saturday before Easter we had an Easter picnic and Easter Egg Hunt at my grandparent's house in Spanish Fork. The food was great and the Easter Egg Hunt was a lot of fun. Easton sure didn't know what to do at first but his Daddy was kind enough to help him. Once Easton realized there was candy in the eggs, he was a little more excited about gathering them. We even had a jackpot egg in the hunt that turned out to be an engagement ring. My cousin Kelby proposed to his sweet girlfriend Alexis and we were all able to be there. It was so much fun!

Easton was also lucky enough to get an Easter Sunday outfit. His Grandma Ruth gave him the dress shirt and we had already given him the tie and pants (luckily they all looked good together!). Easton also got an Easter basket with some candy, ball, bubbles and beach toys (since we are going to California in a week). He could have cared less about anything but the ball and the bubbles. He was so excited about those toys and I swear we blew bubbles all week long.

Easton had one egg and he was happy because he knew there was candy inside.

Yea! Love! Welcome to the family Alexis!
